    The package does not include :

  • • The package price given is for 2 people. How can I participate in Singles Week if I want to go alone?

  • The Singles Week package is based around the hire of apartment accommodation for between 2 and 8 people. The events and entertainment on the programme are included in the package price for each person in your apartment. You are free to take a studio apartment alone, but it would be cheaper to share the cost with a friend.

  • • I don't have skis. How do I arrange hire at the resort?

  • We have arranged deals with several equipment hire shops at Avoriaz. When you arrive, you will receive a welcome pack which will include the details of all of our partners at the resort. Simply head along to one of these shops to hire skis at prices specially negotiated for Singles Week participants.

  • • How do I get to Avoriaz?

  • We can also suggest a travel package for you including return flights and transfers from the airport to the resort. You can request details of your suggested travel package via the "Practical Information" section of the website.
    Our suggested travel packages are only for flights and coach transfer, but you may prefer to arrange your own travel by train. The closest train stations are Thonon les Bains and Cluses. You can book your own transfer from these stations (THONON GARE SNCF or CLUSES GARE SNCF) to the resort on : www.sat-leman.com (click on the Union Jack for the English version).

  • • How can I make my booking?

  • To make a booking, click on "Prices", then click on "GO!". You will then be redirected to the Avoriaz website where you can choose your accommodation and finalise the booking.

  • • What is the Village?

  • The Village is a general meeting point and information area for DatingDirect.com and its partners. All practical aspects of your stay can be organised at the Village: sign up for activities, find out where to meet others, book a sports massage or a beauty parlour appointment, check out the perfumerie and get lessons!

  • • Do I have to take part in all the Singles Week activities?

  • There will be numerous activities available on the programme both during the day and in the evenings. You can choose whether to take part in all, some or none of them. Above all, Singles Week is your holiday to enjoy winter sports, good company and the opportunity to meet new people. You are free to organise your time as you wish.

  • • Is the whole resort booked for DatingDirect.com?

  • The resort will be decked out for Singles Week, but will also be open for normal bookings.

  • • What are the Singles Week promotional offers?

  • We have negotiated discounts with our partners across the resort, including special rates on your ski pass, lessons and evening events. The full details will be included in the welcome pack which you will receive when you arrive.

  • • Can I bring my children?

  • Singles Week is open to single people with or without children. Although DatingDirect.com is not arranging any special facilities or events for children as part of Singles Week, plenty of activities and services geared towards children are already available at the resort.

  • • What is in the DatingDirect.com welcome pack?

  • An article of identification to help Singles Week participants recognise each other, a bracelet giving access to the activities and entertainment, a full programme for the week, goodies from our partners.

  • • What should I bring to wear?

  • During the daytime, you should wear warm winter clothes suitable for skiing. For the evenings, bring along whichever clothes you would usually feel comfortable in when meeting new people - but bear in mind you are still in the mountains, so pack warm!

  • • I'm 55, can I still take part in Singles Week?

  • Yes! There is no age limit, Singles Week is open to all.

  • • Can I arrange my own accommodation and still participate in the Singles Week activities?

  • Yes! For 80€ per person you can join in with all the Singles Week events and entertainment, including.
